Edible and Medicinal Plants Tour
January 1, 1970 @ 12:00 am
On this exploration of the Sonoran Desert, you’ll see jojoba, creosote, and other plants while learning of their medicinal and edible uses. Join us to learn how prickly-pear cacti, ratany, agaves, jojoba, and other native plants have fed, healed, and clothed Sonoran Desert peoples for more than 1,000 years. This guided tour explores the Curandero Trail, which has steep sections that are not suitable for visitors who use wheelchairs, walkers, or strollers. Pre-registration required.
